When first introduced to AJH Ground Works as the appointed civils ground works contractor for a 6.2MW Solar Project on the Isle of Wight, it was clear from a technical basis that AJH are far superior to other civils contractors working in this arena. Alistair works with the client, not against and should any issue arise whether engineering related or other (as they always do in construction) Alistair is the first to take responsibility, generate alternative solutions and execute the corrections to keep the project on time. These solutions may not always suit AJH themselves within a financial and contractual element, however as a consummate professional with a can do attitude Alistair will not let this hold him back.
As the owner of a Ground Works Construction Company, Alistair Heathcote is truly unique in a business where individual distinction is very difficult to achieve. He treats all his clients as if they are his only client and treats his employees with a loyalty and commitment that is rare in this cut-throat business. As a result of AJH’s collaborative team effort, the project was extremely successful, built with exceptional quality and delivered on time, within budget and with no safety incidents.
